Katya Klinova is a Program Lead at the Partnership on AI, where her work focuses mainly on the AI, Labor, and Economy thematic pillar. She is passionate about ensuring that technological progress fulfills its potential to be an equalizing force in the world.

Prior to joining PAI, Katya was at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, researching potential impact of AI advancement on economic growth trajectories of developing countries. She also worked with the UN Executive Office of the Secretary-General to prepare the launch of the SG’s Strategy for New Technology. Earlier in her career, Katya worked at Google in a variety of communications and partnerships roles on Chrome, Search, core brand, Play, and developer relations.

Katya holds a B.S. cum laude in Applied Math and Computer Science, an M.Sc. in Networks and e-Business Centered Computing, and an MPA in International Development.
