Jingying Yang is a Program Lead at the Partnership on AI, where her work focuses on the Safety-Critical AI Working Group and thematic pillar. She is passionate about incorporating a diversity of perspectives into solutions for complex challenges.

Prior to joining PAI, Jingying was part of an interdisciplinary Operations team at Lyft, working closely with Marketing and Product to make the Shared experience better for customers and drivers. Before that, she worked for the state government of Massachusetts on improving the cost efficiency of the entire health care system, and specifically researched how mental health and substance use disorders impact medical conditions and opportunities to improve outcomes for patients with co-occurring conditions. Prior to that, she was a management consultant at Bain & Company, advising clients on a range of topics, including new business line expansion, supply chain reorganization, growth strategy and marketing spending efficiency.

Jingying holds a BS from Yale University.
