Develop and promote best practices in artificial intelligence with our diverse Partner organizations.
The Partnership on AI is the only AI research organization that brings together industry and non-industry collaborators. Through the diversity of our partners, we are uniquely able to foster collaboration between sectors, disciplines, and populations differently affected by AI technologies to realize AI best practices for the benefit of people and society.
We value people who are able to collaborate and speak with contributors of diverse backgrounds, organizations, and titles.

We celebrate diversity and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment in all aspects of employment, including recruiting, hiring, promoting, training, education assistance, social and recreational programs, compensation, benefits, transfers, discipline, and all privileges and conditions of employment.

The Partnership on AI Fellowship Program offers Research and Program Fellowships which provide opportunities for individuals across a range of career stages, spanning several of our organization’s focus areas.
The Partnership is currently hiring Fellows to advance work on the following topics:
Research Fellows at PAI participate in academic research jointly scoped by PAI, and in multistakeholder work. PAI supports research on topics at the intersection of AI and society to advance the state of the AI research field in areas that we think are important for its growth and development. We believe that supporting the development of an evidence base for such questions is a first step to informing collective action to positively impact practice in the field.
The Partnership also invests in Research Fellows who are deeply involved in our multistakeholder work, and help lead or contribute to projects in which our Partner organizations are also participants. This work is often focused on gathering the views of our community to advance understanding on specific questions, enhancing coordination between parties and sectors, and increasing collaboration across disciplines and actors in the field.
Program Fellows at PAI drive emergent work at the intersection of AI and society in support of PAI’s program delivery. This often includes multidisciplinary primary or secondary research on new methods for multistakeholder work, and program design/implementation (for example, our work focused on developing new methods for the inclusion of underrepresented voices in AI practice design).
